Tonight's boys basketball game at Parkersburg Catholic will be a Varsity only game that will begin at 6pm. Please note the game time change.

Tonight's wrestling match at Wirt County has been cancelled.


Tonight's girls basketball game vs. Magnolia has been postponed until Monday, February 12 at 6pm. There will only be 2 quarters of JV and the varsity game will start at 7pm.


Due to poor road conditions, Ritchie County students and staff will not report to school today, Tuesday, January 16. However, this will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day and students will complete their assignments at home.


Ritchie County High School will be operating on a 2 Hour Delay Schedule for Tuesday, January 16. See the schedule for classes below. Morning MOVTI students will not be reporting to MOVTI and breakfast will not be served. Afternoon MOVTI students will be leaving for MOVTI at the normal time. January 9th, 2024 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We would like to say a special thank you to Officer Jackson and Officer Miller for working hard to keep our schools safe. We would also like to thank all law enforcement in our county for making our community a safe place to live and work.


Monday, January 8 is the beginning of second semester classes. Students will report directly to their new classes by 8am. If students do not know their new schedule, they may meet Mrs. McBrayer in the presentation room Monday morning to pick up their schedule.
