🎃 Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners! 🎃 We’re excited to announce the winners of this year’s CCES Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🏆 Mrs. Wood- 1st place Mrs. Jones- 2nd place All of the submissions were absolutely wonderful, and we look forward to this fun tradition every year.

🌟 Cozy for a Cause Day! 🌟 This Wednesday, November 5th, we’re getting cozy for a great cause! Students are invited to wear their pajamas to school with a $1 (or greater) donation. All proceeds will go toward supporting a local family in need. Let’s come together, stay comfy, and make a difference in our community! 💤💛

🎃 Last week, we had a special visit from PRO Officer Kat and her helper, Safety Pup! They shared important Halloween trick-or-treat safety tips with our students to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time. Each student received a reflective treat bag and some fun Halloween goodies to take home! 🎃🍬 A huge thank you to Officer Kat for taking the time to teach our little Cardinals how to stay safe while having fun this Halloween!

🎃👻 Don’t forget! The CCES Halloween Dance is tomorrow, Saturday, October 25th from 5:30–7:30 PM! 🕺💃 Admission is $5 per student, which includes a snack pack with a pepperoni roll, chips, and a drink. There will be prizes, music, and lots of spooky fun! 🍬🎶 Please remember — school rules apply, no cell phones are permitted, and all students must have an adult chaperone attend with them. We can’t wait to see all of our Cardinals dressed up and ready for a fun night! 🧡🕷️

Come out Friday October 24th and Support our 15th ranked Football team against St. Marys! Fill the Stands! Be the 12th Man! Pack that Stadium!

See you Friday night at 7PM at Chuck Schofield Memorial Stadium!

Tomorrow kicks off spirit week at CCES! Let’s see which class brings the brightest energy and most colorful spirit to start the week off right with class color day!

A link for WVEIS has been placed at the top of our RitchieSchools.com website. When you are accessing the WVEIS Parent Portal for the first time, you must click on the link for "Request Parent Access". After set up, parents should be able to log-in on the left side of the screen,

Students sign-in with SSO log-in. If students do not know their email or password, please contact your child's school.

**If you, as a parent/guardian, are having issues with your password- request parent access again using the same email. It should send you a link to reset your password.

Last week, CCES held our very first Attendance Surprise Day for the 25-26 school year, and it was a big hit! 🌽🍎 Thanks to a wonderful collaboration with Lakeview Market, students got to explore a mini farmers market right here at school. Each student had the chance to choose from a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to take home and enjoy with their families. These surprise events are planned throughout the year by Miss Abbie, Communities In Schools, to celebrate and encourage good, regular school attendance. Students never know when the next surprise will be — but everyone present that day gets to join in the fun! We can’t wait to see what the next Attendance Surprise Day brings!

Our PTO works hard all year to make sure our students and families have the best experiences possible. From funding exciting field trips and fun educational school activities, to hosting special family events like the Veteran’s Luncheon, dances, and Family Fun Days – the PTO is always there supporting our Cardinals. ❤️
