Students in Miss Simm’s class enjoyed Market Day recently. Market Day was the final part of their math project where they learned about profit and expense. Students were involved with the entire process from purchasing materials, making their product, creating their marketing plan, managing their expenses and calculating their profits. After a presentation to convince their peers to buy their products, they had a market and sold their products for paper dollars. As you can tell by their faces, they had a grand time.
