On Saturday, Field Turf began installing turf on the football field. If the weather stays dry the install should be completed this week. The prep work on the softball field is scheduled to be finished on Wednesday and they will begin installing the turf by weeks end. Next, they will begin the baseball phase of the project. There was a setback with paving the track and there is a new company on-site who will be completing this work. We remain on track for our opening home game. During this phase of the project it’s imperative that we maintain the worksite. We’re happy that people are excited about the project and want see it firsthand but physical access is limited to construction personnel only. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
